Alice the Apple C2C Blanket - FREE Crochet Pattern

• The height of this amigurumi is 21.6 x 21.6 inches (55 x 55 cm).
• Alice the Apple C2C Blanket has 30 x 30 squares
• This design is based on my Alice, Oliver and Perry the Fruit Friends "Kawaii Friends Series" Amigurumi Crochet Pattern. You can find the pattern here.

• Worsted Weight Yarn: Light Blue, Red, Pink, Green, Dark Green, White and Black
• 5 mm crochet hook
• Scissors & needle.

We will make a little blanket of 12 squares. If you learn to make this pattern, you can follow any C2C blanket chart. We will start with square 1.

The black numbers you can see on the right and bottom of the chart are for your reference and help.

The white numbers are just to explain this pattern example.

Start with 6 ch, 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in next 2 ch.
You have done the square 1.

6 ch, 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in next 2 ch.
You have done the square 2.

Take the square 1 and flip it.
Do sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 1.

3 ch, 3 dc in the same space.
You have done the square 3.

6 ch, 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in next 2 ch.
You have done the square 4.
Take the squares 1, 2, 3 and flip them.
Do sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 3.

3 ch, 3 dc in the same space, 1 sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 2.
You have done the square 5.
3 ch, 3 dc in the same space.
You have done the square 6.

At this point, the blanket does not increase more by this side.
Turn your work and do 1 sl st in next 3 dc, 1 sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 6.
3 ch, 3 dc in the same space.
You have done the square 7.

Now you will do a new color change. With a new Main Color yarn, do sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 4, but use the main color yarn.
Place the tail of the beginning of the new yarn on the wrong side and carry it in the next stitches you will make.

Then do 3 ch, 3 dc in the same space.
You have done the square 8.
Now you will do a new color change.
Do sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 4, but use the main color yarn.
Do 3 ch, 3 dc in the same space.
You have done the square 9.

At this point, the blanket does not increase more by this side.
Turn your work and do 1 sl st in next 3 dc, 1 sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 9.
3 ch, 3 dc in the same space.
Do sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 8.
You have done the square 10.

3 ch, 3 dc in the same space.
Do sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 7.
You have done the square 11.
Turn your work and do 1 sl st in next 3 dc, 1 sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 11.
3 ch, 3 dc in the same space.
You have done the square 12.

Turn your work and do 1 sl st in next 3 dc, 1 sl st in space between first 3 ch and first dc of square 12.
Fasten off all yarns.
